R.I.P. Ronald Franklin Asheton

Grubber here. Sad news in the music scene. Ronald Franklin Asheton, guitarist and band member of "Iggy Pop and the Stooges" passed away Tuesday January 6th 2009.

The Stooges were one of my influences. As a DJ my ear is open to a lot of different types of music. When I first heard the stooges back in the 80's, they were one of the music groups that made me the man I am today.

So my hats off to you Ronald Franklin Asheton! Cheers!
